I hope he and the young film makers like him will have a great next generation of filmmakers.

The most difficult part in a film is always writing, directing and cinematography. I was watching “Aussie Picks Up Cinematography Oscar” to get out of the house and go to the cinema, and I feel very lucky that the film was such a great success and was awarded a best documentary award. It’s not about winning an Oscar because I know how hard this profession is but a film is a human being. You need time and practice to learn to do this job. For this reason it takes time to get the film right. To me, it’s not about the Oscar, it’s about being able to teach the young up and coming filmmakers the things they need to know to go on and produce a film that people will be watching again and again.
