Legal Guardianship Filing Fee

All filing fees (including service fees) must be paid when the application is submitted to probate court. The probate court accepts credit cards ($2.50 service fee for all credit card transactions), cash, money orders or personal cheques payable to the “probate court”. Personal cheques are not accepted for firearms licence or marriage licence fees. Please note that for virtually all documents filed with probate court, there is an admission fee of $2.00/page. This fee is in addition to the basic filing fee listed below: If you file a complaint, petition or other civil action with an initial filing fee and a separate registration number, you must also pay the registry a $15 surfee. You don`t have to pay extra to add a suffix. Check with your local county clerk or court for information on acceptable payment methods.
