First Class Requirement

Learn ahead of time about your rights and obligations as a U.S. citizen to prepare for the 9a first-class requirement. When the first class rank is reached, a Scout has learned all the basic camping and outdoor skills of a Scout. First-class Scouts can prepare themselves in nature, guide others on a hike or campsite, set up a campground, plan and prepare meals properly, and provide first aid for most situations that may arise.
